Darío Hérguer / Darío Hernández Guerra is a visual artist born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) in 2001. In 2025, he begins his doctoral research on painting theory within the PhD Program in Artistic, Literary, and Cultural Studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In addition, he holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture from the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2025), as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Political Science from the Complutense University of Madrid (2024).
His artistic work has been exhibited in solo shows both in Tenerife and Madrid. Likewise, his critical and theoretical practice includes collaborations with institutions such as the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno (CAAM), the Research Center of the Museo Reina Sofía, the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, and the Ateneo de Madrid, among others.
